If you don't have a facilitator, you are the facilitator

In this interview, I chatted with Charles Jessup, who is an internal facilitator for an Oil and Gas company in Texas. On a daily basis, Charles leads and facilitates meetings, workshops and events  for internal managers and leaders within the company, looking to improve their side of the organization. By working with a facilitator, these managers gain a variety of benefits such as:

  • Running a well organized and effective meeting for your team
  • Increasing team alignment, improved communication and decision making, and increased follow through on action items 
  • Making sure your team understands the purpose of the meeting which will engage everyone early on (Avoid "death by meetings" by making sure that there is a clear purpose to holding your meeting)
