Happy small business month everyone.

I just wanted to take a few moments to share some of the events that are going on that might be great for your business.
Some of them SME Strategy is involved in: either advising the businesses, sponsoring some of the activities, or we just think that there will be opportunities for your business at.
Check out the list, and give us some feedback after.

Reveal business Case competition. November 15 to 17, 2013.
This business case competition is like no other. The organizers wanted to make the event as real as possible, so they created challenges the push the skills and preparation of all the competitors.
Take your standard business case completion and add some challenging business simulations based on real life events.
This event will pit university students from across canada, and test them like the real world of business would: Unexpectedly.

Here's a blurb from the organizers. Contact them for sponsorship opportunities.
REVEAL Business Group (REVEAL) is a non-profit organization in Vancouver focused on personal and professional development. Established in 2012, we organized REVEAL Competition, a unique three-day experience that combines a business case, an online simulation, and live mini-challenges to test students’ business acumen as they are thrown into a competitive business industry acting as leaders of their own company. The inaugural year featured 150 delegates, judges, sponsors, and guests, many of whom are returning for our second year.
REVEAL Competition is not your typical case competition; our online simulation mimics the reality of creating business strategies and executing business decisions. Each team competes against one another for market share, where their decisions directly affect other teams’ results. Delegates face unexpected obstacles when thrown into dynamic live challenges such as elevator pitches or emergency press conferences, and they learn to thrive in the face of uncertainty.
In one weekend, you will have an exclusive opportunity to meet, network, and reach out to some of the brightest and talented business students from across Canada. We are on the lookout for great community partners to support this exciting experience. If you would like more information on sponsorship opportunities or want to know how you can get involved, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
